The Brazilian Amazon Rainforest covers almost half of the country's territory, comprising an area of approximately 5 million square kilometers, large enough to accommodate the entire Western Europe.
The region is home to 25% of the world's biodiversity and more than 40,000 plant species. In addition to its rich flora and fauna, the Amazon Rainforest has a wide range of geological substrate, different soils, climates and the world's largest watershed.
Beraca's Rainforest Specialties line is composed of vegetable oils, clays and butters made from active ingredients sustainably sourced. All raw materials are organic certified by ECOCERT/USDA. Our production site, located in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, contributes directly to the development of local communities whose main source of income comes from forest products.
